The project was funded by the European Union from the European Social Fund.
The “Step Forward” project deals with the challenge of organizing the work of kindergartens that meet the needs of harmonizing the family and business life of working parents.
The implementation of the Mali istraživač kindergarten project will contribute to harmonizing the business and family life of families with dependent members by providing the service of extended working hours of the kindergarten from the existing 10 to 12 hours of educational work, rearranging on-duty groups, all through continuous educational work in a period of 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Project objectives and expected results:
- Introduction of educational work service in extended working hours for 217 children
- Strengthened capacities of all professionals and educators for work with children
- Improved material requirements for accommodation and stay of children
- Development and creation of five new special programs that will further enrich educational work.
PROJECT USERS:
- 217 children of preschool age – users of the extended working hours service
- 22 educators, three professional associates, and a health manager
- Parents of children using the extended working hours service of the kindergarten
