Kindergarten "Mali istraživač" continued with in-house educations to strengthen the capacity of educators and professional associates. The education entitled "Awareness of the naturalist in yourself" was related to the acquisition of knowledge and skills of educators and pedagogues in the field of proper influence and care for nature and the environment. During the education, the topics "Life of adders and making lumbricariums" and "Fundamentals of aquaristics and setting up aquariums" will be covered. The acquired knowledge and skills will serve as the basis for the development and creation of the new "Little Naturalists" program, the goal of which will be to develop a proper attitude towards to nature, from the earliest age in children, and coexistence with nature.

Through the second professional interactive education entitled "Implementation of the curriculum and raising the quality of life of children in an institutional context" during November 2022, topics from the field of NTC innovative learning system, which helps children to reach their biological potential as much as possible, were covered.

We will use all acquired professional knowledge and skills in the further work of our kindergarten through the educational process with children. The mentioned educations for strengthening the capacity of educators and professional associates are carried out as part of the EU project Step forward, funded from the European Social Fund through the Operational Program Effective Human Resources. The total value of the "Step forward" project amounts to HRK 2,935,003.01. The purpose of the project is to contribute to the harmonization of the business and family life of families with dependent members by providing the service of extended working hours of kindergartens from the existing 10 to 12 hours of educational work, avoiding duty groups, and through continuous educational work, in the period from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm.
